Loly Lutti Pottery Camp
Loly Lutti Summer Pottery Camp has partnered with Nancy Gordon Pottery Studio to offer week-long sessions from July through early August. We provide a full-day(9-3) program with a focus on ceramics and other handcrafts. The camp serves students from ages 5-14. We are fortunate and thrilled to host our camp at the Grauer School in Encinitas.
Hand-building, throwing on the wheel, and glazing will be the focus of the program. We will also incorporate jewelry making (beading, knotting, and wire wrapping) bookmaking, and textile arts into our week.
Our warm and knowledgeable instructors and volunteers will encourage your child to explore their creative vision in clay and to trust their curiosity to guide the learning process. We offer the unique experience of mixed-age camps in which your child will learn not only from the instructor but also by observing the FRIENDS they make. This open and flexible environment encourages campers to connect and the feeling of clay, often making lasting friendships while exploring a new craft.
